What if we don't have much IT experience?

How much work will our team need to do?
Depends on the package. With Basic, you and your team does most of the implementation. With Secure or Complete, we do most of it - your team mainly attends training and approves policies. Very manageable.

What happens if we fail the certification?
We don't submit your application until we're certain you'll pass. We handle the remediation work, test everything, and only submit when you're fully compliant. This is one of the key differences between LinksGuard and other providers.

Do we have to renew?
Yes, every 12 months. But it's straightforward. We manage the renewal for you and include all recertification fees.

What if we need to cancel?
We have a 12-month rolling commitment. We ask for this because it takes time to build security properly. Clubs who complete the first year almost always renew because they see the real value.

How is this different from doing it ourselves?
You could do it yourself, but it would take 40-60 hours of your time, require learning new systems, and you'd have no ongoing support. We handle the complexity, give you confidence, and keep you protected long-term. For most clubs, it's worth every penny

All packages include £25,000 cyber insurance when you have passed your Cyber Essentials certification. If something happens, you're covered.
